My favorite place to stay in Michigan Positive: The just offered is a no rush late checkout that was gracious. The location and the coziness of the cabin were so nice. Safe. The views are fantastic. Sunrise was killer. Very rustic place. I like it quite a bit. We would love to stay during a storm. Negative: Just confirm suggestions: 😊 Some large curtains to insulate the rear door would be perfect to really enjoy the gas fireplace. A curtain across the front entry for privacy and insulation would also be perfect. The upstairs front bedroom had a little bit too much light coming through the blinds at night so they could also use curtains.

Relaxing, relaxing relaxing Positive: It was very quiet and clean. It was SO comfortable and warm. It was in the 30s outside and very warm inside. I will return. The location between Toledo and Ann Arbor made it convenient for us. Such a nice place Negative: I liked everything about this place except I couldn’t stay longer

Summer days in the cabin on the lake Positive: We loved the view from the cabin and the deck. The rustic charme of the cabin was nice for a change and our daughter enjoyed it a lot. Feeding the squirrels and watching the birds while relaxing by the lake was fun. The cabin had comfy beds and good water pressure for a hot shower after long days outside. WiFi connection was good. Condiments, especially sweets, coffee and the Michigan wine, were a plus. Communication was friendly and easy. Our hosts were flexible and responded quickly and positively to anything we asked. Pictures match the real experience. Negative: It wouldn’t be fair to say anything bad about our stay here. There is room for improvement though, considering the price tag: We didn’t mind the crawlers, spiders mostly, in and around the place since it’s a cabin. But the amount of dust and the cleanliness of the dishes, cutlery and coffee machine made us feel a bit less comfortable initially. We thoroughly cleaned those ourselves before using. The master bedroom could do with some upgrade of furniture (TV stand e.g.) and a decent window unit. We found that, depending on the wind, there can be quite some noise from the Interstate.
